Moonfold hands your coding task to another agent when one hits its usage limit
subaru_kun33 · reddit · 2026-10-28
An open-source desktop/web workspace called Moonfold runs the coding agent CLIs you already have (Codex, Claude Code today; Cursor/OpenCode adapters in beta) with your own logins, and automatically hands off tasks between them.
- When one agent hits its usage limit, it stops, writes a brief (plan, changed files, git status, failing command), redacts secrets, and passes the thread to the next agent — README GIF shows Codex starting a bug fix and Claude finishing it
- Fork of T3 Code (MIT); adds per-provider usage tracking, scheduled tasks, built-in browser, plugins/memories, default Supervised permission mode
- Honest limits: unsigned beta builds, Gemini CLI not fully verified, brief quality depends on the first agent; no proxying, no telemetry by default
