Parallel launches Decisions API: web-grounded yes/no answers with confidence scores at $0.001/request
heyshrutimishra · x · 2026-10-28
Parallel launched its Decisions API, billed as the first web-grounded decisions engine. Ask a yes/no question and it checks the live web, returning an answer with an explicit confidence score (e.g. 98% or 55%) instead of false certainty. Pricing is $0.001 per request with 5,000 free calls. Use cases include fact-checking, refreshing stale banking records, classifying companies and leads, backtesting trading strategies, and tracking competitor e-commerce inventory. The key scaling insight: apps can batch thousands of queries, trust high-confidence answers, and route only shaky ones to humans.
