Google announced that Gemini Robotics Embodied Reasoning 2 (ER 2) is now generally available on Google Cloud. ER 2 serves as the high-level reasoning layer for robots, enabling them to think, call functions to act, and adapt to changes in the physical world.
Boston Dynamics' Marco da Silva reported exponential monthly growth in customers using AIVI-Learning, with ER 2 letting Spot apply AI models to video—turning inspections from moment-in-time checks into continuous video analysis.
