Radiology journal publishes review on agentic AI systems, topologies and evaluation
jnkath · x · 2026-10-28
A review on agentic systems in radiology just published in Radiology (RSNA) covers agent fundamentals, agentic topologies, challenges and evaluation, mapping concepts onto the radiology environment (HIS/RIS/PACS databases, classification/segmentation/detection tools). The authors note most concepts held up despite AI moving faster than peer review; harness engineering and RSI now matter more, MCP is widely accepted, and new benchmarks and eval strategies have emerged.
