Y Combinator announced that S24 batch company Vera Health has raised a $28.5M Series A. Vera is a clinical search engine that finds and grades medical evidence before writing an answer, color-coding every claim by research strength — built to be honest when evidence is thin rather than sound confident.
Founded by two sons of physicians, it started as a tool for their own fathers and now serves 800,000+ clinicians across 190 countries, including roughly 1 in 4 physicians in Spain and Italy, and has been the world's most-downloaded clinical app every month since June.
