Brendan McCord, who sold two AI companies, is hiring a Chief of Staff to work across the Cosmos ecosystem: the Cosmos Institute nonprofit (research with fellows from Google DeepMind, Anthropic, OpenAI and academia, 200+ prototype grants, a big in-person higher-ed bet launching 2027), an Oxford graduate seminar on philosophy and AI, a book on human autonomy in the AI age, and Cosmos Ventures — a new $77.6M fund backing founders building new institutions for the AI age. Full-time role in Austin.
