Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella argued on the 20VC podcast that companies of the future will train specialized models on their own data — otherwise "you are creating value for the model company versus capturing that value for yourself." He predicted every firm will maintain a private eval benchmark as its core IP, with each model provider hill-climbing on that eval. The clip was shared by investor Harry Stebbings and picked up by LangChain's hwchase17 and other agent-ecosystem builders.
