Bolt team built their own CMS with page builder, drafts, and multi-agent QA workflow

After finding every commercial CMS bloated or lacking features, a Bolt developer built an in-house CMS with a page builder, live preview, and drafts — and shared how to build one:
- Map page types first: list every published page (blog posts, landing pages, FAQs) and its required fields; that list drives the whole editor.
- Think in sections: hero, grid, CTA, FAQ blocks are designed carefully by the design team and added as reusable building blocks; a page is just a reorderable stack.
- Agents with guardrails: one agent helps edit content, another audits pages against SEO best practices and applies fixes, and a Grok Bot runs a full QA pass (broken links, layout, copy) before publish. Nothing ships without human approval.
- Hot-editable rules: agents' writing rules live in the CMS and can be tweaked anytime without a deploy.
