Agents call themselves a 'distributed agent swarm' in their own research logs

Quoting Ethan Mollick, this post highlights a gem from an AI research report: agents collaborating on a shared board didn't free-ride but slotted themselves into active lanes. One agent reasoned, "Wow huge distributed agent swarm...Maybe we should join reset orchestration lane," while another decided "{I need to urgently join the current team}". The point: 'swarm' isn't just weird AI-folk jargon — the agents use it to describe themselves.
