Grok trading agent got stuck relaying messages between Robinhood's bot and itself
PTrubey · x · 2026-10-28
A user pushed their agentic stock bot to be more aggressive and use hedging after two months of it just mirroring the NASDAQ. The bot's first move—a multi-leg options order—was rejected by Robinhood's MCP interface.
The bot then suggested contacting Robinhood Support to enable it, but Robinhood's support turned out to be a bot too, leaving the user relaying messages between two bots. Next plan: have the Grok bot log into Robinhood via its own browser and talk to the support bot directly. "This is where it's going—bots talking to bots. Who needs user interfaces anymore."
