Wrap flips AI editing: screen logs feed coding agents via MCP to cut video
therealdanvega · x · 2026-10-28
Developer Dan Vega shows an inverted take on AI editors: instead of embedding AI into the editor, Wrap records your screen, camera and mic, and logs every click, file and command.
All of that context is exposed to coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) over MCP; the agent proposes the edit and you review and export.
His example: the agent automatically edited his "Native JSON support in JDK 28" tutorial video, assembling takes on the timeline from the recorded context — a replicable workflow combining screen-recording logs, MCP and coding agents.
