Evals for AI Engineers book by Hamel Husain and Shreya is out, error analysis method inside

shreya announced the release of "Evals for AI Engineers," co-authored with Hamel Husain, available on Amazon with upcoming book signings. A quoted reader's note distills the error analysis chapter's method: don't start with metrics — read agent traces end to end, mark the first step where things went wrong with a one-line note, use yes/no verdicts instead of 1-5 scores, only group traces into failure types after 20 are marked, and don't let a model invent the categories.
