Aletheia: open-source local memory & rules hub for AI coding tools via MCP, REST and CLI
MissionArea990 · reddit · 2026-10-28
The author open-sourced Aletheia (Apache-2.0, free, no account, alpha) to fix the problem of coding agents forgetting between sessions and each keeping its own notes: memory and rules live once in a single local SQLite store, readable by any tool over MCP, REST or the CLI, with rules synced into CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md and Cursor rules.
Requires Bun 1.1+; install with npm install -g aletheia-mem, then run aletheia-server. Hosted on GitHub.
