CodeRabbit Secure adds cross-repo Deep Scan, sandbox exploit verification and merge blocking
nevrekaraishwa2 · x · 2026-10-28
CodeRabbit shipped new CodeRabbit Secure features extending AI security review from one-off scans to continuous monitoring:
- Cross-repo Deep Scan: traces attack paths across linked repositories, covering risks in existing code beyond PR diffs
- Runtime verification: replays exploit attempts in throwaway sandboxes to confirm which vulnerabilities are actually exploitable
- Delta Scans: automatically re-review changed code at lower cost as merges land
- Security Check: blocks PR merges while critical findings remain open
- Integrations/API: findings route into Jira/Linear, org-wide views, and API access
The company argues attackers already use AI agents to find weaknesses faster than teams can review, so defense must operate the same way.
