Open-source anymove turns one AI video into motion capture for any creature at $0.26 per clip
noahsolomon · x · 2026-10-28
patch.gg open-sourced anymove, a pipeline that turns a single AI-generated video into animation for any rigged creature — wings, tails and eight legs included.
- A video model films the creature from two cameras in one frame (front left, side right)
- A finetuned DINOv2 model reads the joints; the rig is fitted in both views and exported as GLB
- Demos include a dragon, giant spider, fire demon and wolf; each clip costs $0.26 and takes under a minute to fit
- Apache-2.0 licensed, ships as a Blender plugin and Claude Code plugin; 136 stars at launch
