VGS announced the second annual Agent Connect will be held in San Francisco on March 9, 2027, focused on payments and trust infrastructure for agentic commerce. Last year's event drew 300+ payment leaders with speakers from a16z, OpenAI, Visa, Mastercard, Shopify, Instacart, and more.
Themes this year include how AI agents are changing payment flows and decisioning, what agentic commerce requires from existing payment rails, and tokenization. CEO Chuck Yu notes that while last year was about building the foundation, live agentic experiences are now reaching consumers and merchants are adopting at scale, with personal agents like Instinct and Muse on the rise.
