Fertility biotech GametoGen has been acquired by Ferring. A team member recounts that the project began with a graph-theory algorithm predicting transcription factors driving ovarian cell differentiation; the company's AI-generated ovarian support cells have since enabled Phase III trials and the birth of many healthy babies, with potential to reshape fertility treatment. Credit went to the team led by Dina Turner. A landmark AI-for-science commercialization case in reproductive medicine.
