Early Anthropic employee publishes memoir of the lab's 2022-23 founding era

Former Anthropic employee Ivan Vendrov publishes "Some Memories of Early Anthropic", recounting his experience from October 2022 to May 2023. He caveats it as one junior employee's short-window view, not a portrait of the company, but shares it given how little public information exists about AI labs' inner workings.
The piece includes narrative recollections such as a casual pre-joining chat with a co-founder, where the author argued "the government won't do anything about AI until it's far too late — our strategy has to rely on the market and on civil society." Matt Parlmer amplified it as worth reading, especially for Anthropic staff. Rare first-hand material on the lab's early culture.
