Designer tomjohndesign hooked up all NPCs on his portfolio site to AI using the Vercel AI Gateway and Haiku. The NPCs are aware of which map area they occupy and of his work. Next questions he's weighing: should they talk to each other, get motivations and goals, have free will, or converse with visitors?
