Walden Robotics teaches humanoids to call for help, cutting uncaught failures 10x
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-10-27
Walden Robotics builds a call-for-help head into its LBM alongside the action head: using the model's internal state, the robot recognizes tasks it can't reliably handle, a remote operator steps in, and each intervention becomes a training example. The company reports a 10x+ reduction in uncaught failures across camshaft loading and item-scanning tasks, with robots running continuously for hours. Deployments start with conservative thresholds and progressively reduce human interventions as real-world data improves the policy.
