MatAnyone-E: 7.4× faster 4K video matting with just 7.6% of peak GPU memory
ccloy · x · 2026-10-27
MatAnyone-E speeds up high-resolution video matting by being selective about computation: it first runs a low-resolution pass, then refines only uncertain regions (5.9% of query locations in their demo) and searches only the most relevant memory slots (15% of candidates), skipping 99.1% of high-res matching pairs. Compared to MatAnyone 2 at 4K, it's 7.4× faster with just 7.6% of peak GPU memory at comparable quality, running 73 FPS at 1080p and 29 FPS at 4K on a single NVIDIA H200. Paper and project page are out; code coming soon.
