Qiaomu Clipper launches site: open-source Chrome clipper that saves reading notes to Obsidian

Developer vista8 launched the official site for Qiaomu Clipper (乔木剪藏), a free MIT-licensed Chrome extension (based on Obsidian Web Clipper) he uses daily — also serving as his GEO/SEO landing page under a "Build & Sell" strategy.

Key features: extract articles for clean reading with AI Q&A on any selection; video/podcast transcripts side-by-side with search and bilingual subtitles; notes with excerpts, sources and timestamps appended to your daily Obsidian journal; subtitle generation/translation, an AI sidebar with web search and image generation, and a WYSIWYG long-form editor. Nine UI languages. AI runs on your own API keys — no models resold; notes stay in your own vault. Store and GitHub standalone versions differ (the latter allows YouTube file downloads), and installation can be handed to agents like Codex or Claude Code via a copy-paste prompt.
