Compound Engineering 3.33.0 ships PR workflow upgrades to curb scope-creeping agents
kieranklaassen · x · 2026-10-27
Every's Compound Engineering — a set of skills that run on your existing coding agent — released v3.33.0, focused on PR workflow improvements:
- ce-babysit-pr checks whether an old PR should still exist before updating it, important as team PR volume grows
- ce-resolve-pr-feedback declines out-of-scope review comments and leaves them for a later PR, killing scope creep from nitpicky agents
- ce-commit-push-pr credits original authors with co-authored-by trailers that survive squash merges
- lfg counts as approval to run browser tests, and stopped autonomous runs lead with the decision you need to make
The underlying methodology: a six-step loop (brainstorm, plan, work, simplify, review, compound) where the compound step writes learnings to docs/solutions/ for the next run to find. Works on Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Devin, and 13+ other coding agents; install takes two plugin commands.
