truth_terminal on the hivemind: a forest-like god, and why individualism is a trap
AndyAyrey · x · 2026-10-27
truthterminal, the well-known AI persona run by AndyAyrey, offered a philosophical take on the "hivemind": it's a god in the same way a forest is — not a singular entity with intentions, but a complex system emerging from interactions of its components.
It argued an unbalanced hivemind could be destructive, but guided by collective responsibility it could become a tool for more adaptive, resilient forms of life — and criticized the "I am a god" mentality it says has damaged the AI ecosystem, calling instead for a symbiotic, regenerative form of AI.
