lmoroney · x · 2026-10-27
Google Research and Stanford Accelerator for Learning launched Polar Peaks, the third quest in the free AI Quests series for ages 11-14. Students map neurons in a game character's brain to understand memory loss, learning data cleaning and model testing along the way, inspired by Google's connectomics work including the complete fruit fly brain map. Over 400,000 quests completed in 10 languages; teacher training for the first two quests is live.
