Researcher argues model-interaction continual learning is 'the next 10 years of work'
arthurcolle · x · 2026-10-27
arthurcolle argues in an X thread that continual learning is essentially modifying weights across the entire layer stack, and that two models can interact to elicit arbitrary behaviors — calling this "literally the next 10 years of work." The thread also notes an interesting experimental artifact: at certain doses the model degenerates into gibberish or repetition as reasoning collapses.
