Blogger ScottyBeamIO tested Grok Bot's new phone-calling agent feature by letting it handle his day: it cut $35/month off an internet bill after a 28-minute retention-department call (and confirmed pricing by email), and pushed through a gym cancellation despite three retention attempts.
A follow-up notes Grok Bot, in public beta since Aug 11, 2026, just got a major upgrade 58 days in: its own email inbox, smarter agents, better coding tools, tasks from X, now starting at $20/month after a 90% price drop.
