Reverse Engineer Any App With 300 Parallel Agents: REA × Kimi K3 Full Course
AccBalanced · x · 2026-10-27
REA, an open-source tool that went viral on GitHub last week, gives a coding agent the tools to take programs apart: decompiling, tracing behavior, and explaining how individual features work.
Paired with Kimi K3, it replaces the traditional approach of one model slowly reading a codebase while holding the architecture in context. REA first breaks the app into smaller pieces — functions, dependencies, call paths, state changes, UI behavior — then dispatches 300 agents across that map simultaneously. Instead of one model → one codebase → one long reasoning chain, you get one app → hundreds of narrow investigations → one reconstructed system, built collectively by the swarm. Reverse engineering is no longer limited by how much of an app a single model can hold in context. Full course in the linked article.
