'I don't use Figma anymore': designer builds throwaway AI control panels per project
hewarsaber · x · 2026-10-27
Designer hewarsaber shares his new workflow: sketch roughly in Figma, hand it to Claude with the team's design system, ask Claude to build a one-off control panel for that project, have the agent add motion, textures and any needed tools, prompt it to polish every detail, then deploy a link for client review. Reposter designertom says the best tool on a design project is often one you build for that project and throw away — he applies this across film studio, design, and SaaS work, then hands these tools to his agents to manage and evolve.
