Dev builds Dreamcast game in 3 days with OpenAI's Astra, chasing locked 60fps
AIandDesign · x · 2026-10-27
Developer AIandDesign shows off three days of non-stop work with OpenAI's Astra on a Dreamcast version of Canyon Overdrive, with visuals already looking stunning. Current goal: get as close to 60fps as possible, or a clean locked 30fps.
A quick preview demo runs in RetroArch with a CRT shader. The dev stresses this isn't average "slop" output but genuinely polished AI-assisted work.
