REA-Prompts: 2.8k-star prompt library turns coding agents into reverse engineers
Promptmethus · x · 2026-10-27
The REA-Prompts repo (2.8k stars, MIT) releases a full prompt library that gives coding agents a real decompiler workflow, covering software cloning and game logic reconstruction, function tracking and binary analysis, WASM porting, firmware/Android APK/kernel work, Electron apps, and vulnerability/anti-cheat research for CTFs. Key design rules: every claim must cite files, functions and addresses, confirmed facts kept apart from guesses, and ask about one function at a time. A companion article explains how to reverse engineer Android APKs with REA and Claude Code.
