Ex-GitHub CEO Dohmke Launches Entire, a Git Forge Built for Agent-Human Collaboration
hboelman · x · 2026-10-27
Thomas Dohmke, GitHub co-founder and former CEO, has launched Entire, the first Git forge built specifically for agent-human collaboration. Key primitives:
- Trail: replaces the classic PR diff-review model with a pilot-style heads-up display, running automated customizable evals scored by agents on every push.
- Distributed Git hosting: a new Git-compatible source control server claimed to push up to 89x faster than GitHub and 6x faster than Cursor Origin, with multi-region replication for data residency and agentic-scale traffic.
- Continuous Memory: syncs agent sessions and prompts into the Git repo, making them constantly searchable by coding agents.
Entire is building an open ecosystem, partnering with Buildkite and Depot for CI at launch. It is available to all developers today, optimized for AI-native teams.
