SAS Launches AI Navigator, a Cross-Vendor Inventory to Govern Enterprise Models and Agents
shashib · x · 2026-10-27
SAS launched AI Navigator on October 5 as a SaaS product on Microsoft Marketplace, giving AI, data, compliance and risk leaders a single inventory of the models and agents their organization runs — including LLMs, AI agents, open-source models, third-party tools like Claude and Microsoft Copilot, and SAS's own models. Internal policies and regulations can be applied to each use case. Customers get six months of free access. The author suggests asking SAS about inventory export before registering your first use case, and notes background stats: the HSBC-SAS relationship dates to 1998, new sales chief Casey McGee spent 22 years at Microsoft, and SAS has served regulated industries for 50 years.
