Runway launches App Studio: describe an app in words, plus Table Read and Product Shoot apps
runwayml · x · 2026-10-27
Runway unveiled App Studio, where you describe an app in plain language and it codes, tests, and deploys it — no code, API keys, or hosting required. Agent sessions or Workflows can be turned into shareable apps in one click, with Brand Kits keeping every output on-brand.
Ready-made apps shown include:
- Table Read: assign unique voices to script characters and hear the scene before shooting;
- Product Shoot: turn a single product photo into a full campaign across new settings and styles;
- Character Swap: recast video with a new character via depth-map-guided keyframes and Seedance 2.5.
Firms like KPF already use it to give every designer internal AI tools. Enterprises signing by 10/31 get two months free; iPhone and Android apps are live.
