Anthropic hits $16.3B H1 revenue as compute efficiency jumps 5.2x in 18 months

Anthropic's revenue went from $41M (2023) to $386M (2024) to $4.6B (2025) and $16.3B in H1 2026 alone. Q2 2026 revenue grew 1,368% YoY while compute costs grew only 300%; operating margin narrowed from –184% to –4%. The chart shows revenue per dollar of compute rising from 0.40x in Q1'25 to 2.08x in Q2'26 — a 5.2x efficiency gain, with revenue surpassing compute spend for the first time.
