Meta has published all talks and slides from the 2026 OCP Global Summit detailing the networking behind its latest models and the gigawatt-scale Prometheus cluster:
- IcePack/IceCube: first liquid-cooled network rack with 102.4T switch blades (128×800G) in Tomahawk 6C and Spectrum-6 variants, running FBOSS.
- FPF scale-out fabric: each GPU connects to eight network planes, flattening 3-tier Clos to 2 tiers with NIC-level packet spraying and a combined host+switch control plane, built with NVIDIA and shared with cloud partners.
- Scale-across: petabit-scale BAG super-spine plus SRv6 regional backbones on FBOSS + SAI.
- Scale-up: Tahan Ethernet switch for MTIA 300 (Tomahawk5), a preview of 72 accelerators per rack on 102.4T silicon, ESUN progressing 1.0 → 1.1.
- OSPA: switch-platform standardization co-led with Microsoft and Alibaba, v1.0 spec submitted to OCP.
- MetaRoCE, Meta's RDMA transport for AI networks, is being open-sourced.
