A quoted post and accompanying chart (World Trade Securities estimates, based on Anthropic's S-1) project that Anthropic, currently holding $132bn in cash, could command $400bn in firepower by end-2027: $140bn from IPO, $77bn in committed funding from Google, Amazon and Broadcom, plus $51bn of operating cash from a business growing 14x a year.
The argument: all of it is aimed at one thing—compute. In a race won by whoever builds the most, Anthropic is set to have the deepest pockets in AI outside Big Tech itself. Poster zainhas quips the cash pile may surpass Berkshire Hathaway's.
