Anthropic's noncancelable compute commitments hit $430B, per S-1 filing
Hesamation · x · 2026-10-27
Citing Anthropic's IPO S-1 filing (ticker "ANT"), Hesamation notes its long-term compute/infra contracts total $430 billion — more than China's entire 2025 military budget ($336B) — and are noncancelable: if the AI bubble pops or customers leave, Anthropic still pays.
The accompanying Yahoo Finance chart breaks down the commitments: Broadcom is the biggest supplier at $161.2B (five-year equipment lease rent, excluding interest), Google $114.5B and Amazon $110.0B (cloud contracts running into 2033-2036), and Microsoft $44.9B.
