AMA: Harvard's Stephen "Cas" Casper on AI safeguards, incidents and governance, Oct 28
NeuralNomad87 · reddit · 2026-10-26
Stephen "Cas" Casper, Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and MIT PhD alum with a research residency at the UK AI Security Institute, will host a Reddit AMA on Wednesday, October 28, 3–4pm ET (19:00 UTC).
Topics include AI safety, safeguards, risk, governance, state and federal legislation, and AI terrorism events. Casper notes he never has and never will work for big tech, and has never signed a non-disparagement agreement. Questions can be submitted in advance; the AMA thread goes up via u/HarvardKennedy with a dated photo for verification, and Cas types his own answers.
