Founder flags OpenAI and Anthropic overblocking: Fable 5.1 kills legitimate security research as [cyber]
arthurcolle · x · 2026-10-26
Arthur Collé, founder of Distributed, called out OpenAI and Anthropic for over-aggressive safety classifiers: an OpenAI agent blocked from even viewing a security-challenge site, and Fable 5.1 flagged his message as [cyber] with "intentionally broad safeguards" that admit to flagging legitimate coding and cybersecurity tasks. He bypassed prompt-decomposition attack classifiers using his own Tool Management API server with shareable skills and request batching, and questioned why anyone pays providers to have their goals circumvented by a "fictitious moral authority."
