RenderRepo: An apt-Style Package Manager for ComfyUI Workflows
Dr_Gimp · reddit · 2026-10-26
Built for Comfy's Open Source Higgsfield challenge, RenderRepo is a package manager for ComfyUI workflows—like apt for workflow JSONs, which today are scattered across GitHub, Reddit, and local folders with no package identity or revision trail. A RenderRepo capsule wraps the unchanged workflow JSON with package identity, schema version, source/revision provenance, and hashes, letting you manage sources, find packages, check local dependencies, review an install plan, then open the original graph in ComfyUI. The demo pins an official Z-Image-Turbo workflow revision, imports and reviews it, saves it as a capsule, and compares workflow bytes. No models downloaded, graph not executed; nested prompt analysis incomplete, compatibility and performance untested.
