The ELLIS PhD Program is now accepting applications for 2027 entry, with a deadline of October 31, 2026. Each student gets dual cross-country co-supervision within Europe's pan-European AI excellence network, plus summer schools and workshops; joint supervision via ELLIS/CIFAR and the MP-AIX track is also possible. Tübingen's IMPRS-IS program has a November 15, 2026 deadline, and researchers argue Tübingen now rivals nearly any school outside a handful of US institutions for AI research.
