OpenFill brings free local Generative Fill, Remove and Expand to PhotoCraft via your own ComfyUI
Speedeee_ · reddit · 2026-10-26
OpenFill, the open-source local inpainting engine behind the GIMP plugin, now ships as a PhotoCraft panel running through your own ComfyUI for free. It supports Generative Fill (up to 5 variations per selection), prompt-free object removal, Generative Expand with draggable edges or ratio presets, and Text to Image into new canvases or layers. Defaults are DreamShaper 8 Inpainting, RealVisXL V5 with the Fooocus patch, and LaMa, with FLUX.1 Fill and Qwen optional; it auto-detects your existing inpainting checkpoints and can install ComfyUI on Windows. First release targets Windows and Linux, NVIDIA GPUs recommended.
