Local book-to-audiobook-video pipeline runs on 8GB VRAM with Qwen Image + TTS
top115 · reddit · 2026-10-26
A Redditor shared a prototype pipeline that turns any book into an animated audiobook video: generating scene-consistent images with Qwen Image, narrating with drama3 TTS, all running fully local on just 8GB of VRAM. The agent orchestration part was tested with Google Antigravity + Gemini Flash but should be replaceable with a local model like Qwen 2.5 7B. Code is on GitHub, though the author admits it's rough and believes a bigger coding model could greatly improve the pipeline.
