Indie creator builds his own CapCut: a one-Saturday AI animation pipeline
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-26
Luis Buenaventura produces one-minute animated shorts starring @xmrMoneroCat on X and built himself an end-to-end AI production suite: a storyboard editor that turns episode scripts into visual thumbnails, keyframe generation inside his own dashboard, video generation to animate those frames, and an in-browser editor to splice everything together. His argument: the storyboard is where most creative decisions happen, so a tool shaped around your own process makes iterating faster. For regular short-form creators, it's a replicable one-person content factory template — start by tooling the single slowest step, then grow the pipeline from there.
