OpenRouter data shared by Peter Walker shows the 7-day average token volume for Anthropic models is up 3.6x since the Opus 5.5 launch, with Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 also well received. The chart shows daily tokens climbing from 0.7T in late September to nearly 3T by late October. AI commentator Andrew Curran (quoting the post) says the wave of people switching to Anthropic over Opus 5.5 is unlike anything he's seen, and notes he takes no money from any lab.
