Dev open-sources personal agent Aggy: wasmer sandbox, secret-keeping gateway, multiplayer
tobowers · x · 2026-10-26
Developer tobowers has open-sourced and archived his personal agent, Aggy (GitHub: aggy-oss, MIT license), after deciding he can no longer maintain it.
Key design points:
- Loosely based on CloudflareOS; uses wasmer as a code-mode sandbox, with boxd for heavier workloads
- Robust grant/permission system
- Gateway architecture keeps secrets away from the agent
- Multiplayer and multi-gateway support
- An "artifact" system for building apps both agents and humans can use collaboratively
