One prompt let Claude debloat an Android TV over ADB and rebuild a minimal home screen

A user pointed Claude at his slow, ad-filled Android TV: find it on Wi-Fi, connect over ADB, and reversibly debloat it—disable manufacturer ads, telemetry and junk (never uninstall), ask before touching anything he might use, back up first, verify each step with TV screenshots, and produce a restore script. Since Claude couldn't see the TV, it built a small website with a QR code and turned his phone into a camera snapping the screen every 4 seconds for visual feedback. It finished by installing a fast Apple TV-style home screen with an app dock and rotating nature wallpapers. The original poster notes the real highlight is the rule design inside the prompt itself.
