Claude Models Now GA on Google Cloud with New Anthropic-Managed Deployment Option
emmanuelvivier · x · 2026-10-25
Google Cloud announced general availability of an Anthropic-managed deployment option for Claude models, alongside the existing Google-managed option. The Anthropic-managed version offers day-zero access to models and Claude Platform features (Managed Agents beta, skills, code execution), with Anthropic acting as data processor under its terms of service while organizations authenticate via Google Cloud IAM, keep Cloud Audit Logging, and consolidate billing under existing GCP commitments. The Google-managed option provides VPC Service Controls, CMEK, and data residency in US/EU/APAC. Both deliver the same models and pricing.
