Varick founder: most 'AI transformation' firms just sell skill files and prompt workshops
vasuman · x · 2026-10-25
Varick founder vasuman argues the gap between what AI makes possible and what actually happens inside companies has never been wider. Most 'Applied AI' firms, he says, sell skill files, ad-hoc Claude jobs, and prompting workshops — quick cash that barely scratches the surface. Real AI transformation, in his view, means redesigning organizations around AI capabilities, agent-ifying department workflows running in the background, and building HITL loops where agents improve themselves with auditability, governance, and evals baked in. Varick claims to target billions in value on what it calls a $30T market and is hiring in SF for people with 1+ years in startups/PE/banking/consulting who build with AI daily.
